FREE Virtual Art Gallery Event, Opening Minds Through Art

This event is FREE See new works and learn about "Opening Minds Through Art," an intergenerational art program for people living with dementia that promotes social engagement, autonomy, and dignity through creative self-expression. Memory care staff from JAA will present works of art and discuss the value that art making brings to our residents. Mentored by students from Carlow University's art therapy program, memory care residents create their own art, with students assisting with subjects, materials, and color choice. Artists have complete freedom to create their work within the theme of each scheduled session. Hear more about this amazing program and learn from experts about the benefits for those living with dementia and memory loss.
